Industrial standard

NEMA Standards (National Electrical Manufacturers Association)
- NEMA VE 1: This standard specifies the requirements for metal cable trays, but many principles also apply to GRP cable trays, particularly regarding mechanical performance and safety.
- NEMA FG 1: Specific to fiberglass cable tray systems, this standard covers aspects like design, construction, and performance criteria.
IEC Standards (International Electrotechnical Commission)
- IEC 61537: This international standard specifies requirements and tests for cable trays and ladder systems intended for the support and accommodation of cables and possibly other electrical equipment.
- IEC 61439-1: Although primarily for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, parts of this standard are relevant to the construction and performance of cable management systems, including GRP cable trays.

Test Certification

ASTM E84
- This is the fire test response standard that measures the surface burning behavior of materials when exposed to flame and air flow
ASTM D635
- This Test determines the rate of burning for plastics & polymer materials.
ASTM D256
- This standard describes an impact Test to measure the impact strength of Fiber glass using the IZOD method .
ASTM D570
- This standard covers the determination of the relative absorption of water by plastics when immersed under specific conditions .
ASTM D149
- This test the Dielectric Strength . This Test determines the breakdown voltage through the thickness of material .
ISO 4589-2
- This Test the minimum concentration of oxygen , in the mixture of Nitrogen that will support combution of small vertical test specimen under specified test conditions.
ASTM D257
- This Test measure the conductance , volume and surface resistivity of Insulating material .
